Day 1 of our epic journey to Manitoulin Island in Georgian Bay, Lake Huron involved a breakfast stop and then a pitstop at Wiarton. Wiarton is the home of another famous groundhog called Wiarton Willie.
We have seen two famous groundhogs this summer (Punxsutawney Phil) and a third more anonymous fellow in Quebec City. This is officially the summer of the groundhog.
We then stopped in Owen Sound for a break.
And passed Teddy Bear Lane (no I am not making that up) on the way to the ferry at Tobermory.
